Sport Priestley enjoyed unbeatable success in 2025 when not one, but two of its teams were named national college champions.
Our men’s first XI football team finished the season winning every match and collecting four titles at county, regional and national level. Sport Priestley’s women’s rugby team clinched the national cup final with a 24-20 victory over Calderdale College.
It was not only teams that performed well. Individuals excelled in sports as diverse as tennis, karate, wind surfing, weightlifting and many more.

Academies
Train like a professional while receiving an outstanding education by joining one of our academies in either Rugby, Football (men’s and women’s), Netball, and Basketball.
Represent Sport Priestley
Take advantage of opportunities to compete regionally in a variety of sports from netball to badminton, cross country to swimming. Represent the North West at the AoC Sport National Championships.
Coaching and Refereeing
Develop your leadership, coaching and refereeing skills and qualifications with the support of our partnerships including the TCAT Sport Hub, Warrington Wolves, School Games and WASSP.
Trips and Visits
Recent trips have included Old Trafford, a US football tour, warm weather training at La Santa in Lanzarote and outdoor adventure in the Lake District.
