Students studying an A-Level, Vocational or Mixed Pathway can take one of Priestley’s specialism as one of their four courses.
We have split these into different areas of expertise to support your academic programme and bolster your prospects after college.
What is a specialism?
A Specialism is an additional subject you can choose as part of your study programme at Priestley.
It gives you the opportunity to explore an area you’re interested in alongside your main A-Level or vocational subjects, helping you develop new skills, discover new interests and prepare for your future.
How does a Specialism fit into my study programme?
If you choose three A-Level or vocational subjects, your fourth choice can be an AS-Level, vocational subject or Specialism.
Your Specialism becomes part of your study programme, giving you the chance to develop knowledge and skills beyond your main subjects.
