How to choose the right course for you?
Priestley’s wide variety of courses and flexible timetable give you the best chance of creating your perfect Level 3 study programme.

First you need to decide the type of programme you want to study. There are four pathways available to you at Level 3 and for anyone not ready for those courses we offer a number of Level 2 options as part of a Foundation Programme.

A-Level

Laiba Robin chose the academic pathway at Priestley and is studying Biology, Chemistry, Psychology and the Extended Project. She also chose the High Achievers’ Programme as she bids to achieve her dream career.

VOCATIONAL
Jacob Bailey-Lawton took the Vocational route because he preferred that method of study and assessment to more exam-based subjects. His Uniformed Protective Services course also prepares him for his career.
MIXED
Lucas Fraser has combined Spanish A-Level with Vocational subjects Criminology and Music Performance. He’s also a student ambassador and believes Priestley is preparing him for a university by offering independent learning and support.
T-LEVEL
Alfie Walters opted for a T-Level because the option of a work placement appealed to him, but he did not feel ready for an apprenticeship. Listen to him talk about the experience and the support available at Priestley.
Foundation

Sophie Colledge used a Level 2 programme as a springboard to Level 3. She has enjoyed the freedom of being at college and has really appreciated the support that is available across Priestley from wellbeing to careers.
