Overview
AS-Levels are the first year of an A-Level and, at Priestley, are qualifications in their own right.
In Year 2, students are able to refine their choices and focus on three A-Levels. However, any AS qualification secured at the end of Year 1 will still carry UCAS points.
Benefits of AS / A-Levels include:
- You can take up to four AS-Levels in your first year
- AS grades demonstrate to universities your progress since GCSE and are a good way to assess your strengths
- This pathway shows a breadth of knowledge and skills
- A-Level success shows a grasp of academic study
