Reasons to study Priestley NHS Cadets
This is a 1-year course and 1 hour per week.
This is suitable for anyone interested in Healthcare and Career in the NHS. (Can be level 2 or 3 and it also supports Medicine and Dentistry applications).
The key skills module is an introduction to essential skills that you will use both as an NHS Cadet, and in future healthcare roles. You will learn about different healthcare pathways and develop your awareness of practical skills like moving and handling, GDPR, safeguarding and first aid which will be useful in future healthcare roles.
First college in north west to deliver this course developed by St John’s Ambulance.

Study Programme
A-Level and Vocational (Level 3) students are expected to follow a full study programme of three plus one AS-Level courses/equivalents. Your study programme can, however, include a Specialism as one of your choices.
